Mr. Jerry L. "Bud" Sadler, age 75 of Anna, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at his home in Anna. He was born August 10, 1937 in Ware, IL, the son of Irvin and Velma Wildy Sadler. He married Marilyn Sadler on January 27, 1960 in Jonesboro. Bud is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Sadler of Anna; two daughters, Doris (Mitch) Miller of Anna and Darlene (Kenny) Landis of Anna; grandchildren, Dusty (Hillary Abernathy) Miller, Ellie Miller, Adam (Leah) Landis, and Evan Landis; brothers and sisters, Freda Percell of Detroit, MI, Larry (Nadine) Sadler of Anna, Lois Cruse of Anna, Judy (Halford) Dillow of Anna, Joan Peterman of Anna, Paul (Brenda) Sadler of Dongola, Linda (Phil) Osman of Cypress, Eddie (Glenda) Sadler of Anna; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Barbara McCarver, Lola Vincent; six brothers, Joe Sadler, Bill Sadler, William "Runt" Sadler, Clifford "Dick" Sadler, Daniel Sadler and James Sadler. Bud retired after 25 years as a truck driver for E.T. Simonds. He dearly loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed farming, tractors and tractor pulls. Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Lee "Bud" Sadler will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Paul Sadler and Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Military honors will be conducted at the Rendleman& Hileman Funeral Home by the Illinois National Guard Funeral Honors Team of Marion. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorial contributions may be made to TIP Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
