Jeffery Dale Emrick

Mr. Jeffery Dale Emrick, age 58 of rural Jonesboro, died at 11:13 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2011 at his home. He was born December 15, 1952 in Centralia, the son of Ervin and Mildred Bittle Emrick. Jeffery is survived by two daughters, Melanie Kempfer of Centralia, Gretchin Emrick of Jonesboro; one son, J.D. Emrick of Jonesboro; one grandson, Zachary Smith; one brother, Robert Emrick of Richview; cousins; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jeffery owned and operated Emrick Trucking which later became J.D. Trux Co. for many years. He loved fishing and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan. He was a loving father and will be dearly missed. Memorial visitation for Mr. Jeffery Dale Emrick will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment will be held privately in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Veterans Home Activity Fund. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
