Jean K. Kohler

Jean K. Kohler, age 79 of Anna, died Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Manor Court in Carbondale. She was born February 7, 1941 in Jonesboro, the daughter of Herbert and Agnes (Barnhart) Coats. She married Bon Kohler on June 18, 1960 in Anna. Jean is survived by her husband, Bon Kohler of Anna, children, Greg (Sandy) Kohler of Jonesboro, Kelly (Shane Boyd) Bowen of Dongola, and Nicole Kohler of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Dusty (Natalie) Miller, Amber (Dylan) Sturgeon, Alyssa (Jake Pecord) Kohler, Nedom (Caitlyn) Bowen, Mason Watkins, and Ava Rosenthal; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Miller, Sutton Sturgeon, William Bowen, and Robbie Bowen; sister, Anita (Jerry) Hargis of Mesa, AZ; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Herbert Jr. and Bobby Coats. Jean loved sewing, reading, horseback riding, and camping. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro and she loved the Lord. Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the Jonesboro Cemetery with Rev. Perry Williams officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery and the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
