Jean Butterfield

Mrs. Dorothy Jean Butterfield, age 89 of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Southern Illinois, died June 27, 2015 in Orlando, Florida. She was born September 21, 1925 in Southern Illinois, the daughter of Levi and Flory Eddleman Ury. She married Earl Butterfield in 1943. Jean is survived by her children, Linda Butterfield of Dongola, Larry Butterfield, Lesa Mason and Lance Butterfield all of Florida; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Jean attended the St. John's Lutheran Church in Dongola. Jean's life revolved around her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an excellent cook, everyone enjoyed and took notice when her wonderful pies, cakes and other dishes appeared at church functions. Graveside memorial services for Mrs. Dorothy Jean Butterfield will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the St. John's Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Scoville officiating. Inurnment will be in the St. John's Cemetery in Dongola. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the St. John's Cemetery. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home and at the cemetery.
