Janice June Toler

Janice Toler, 84 of Anna, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Herrin Hospital. She was born on February 2, 1937 in Hurst, the daughter of John and Pearl (Hester) Rutherford. She married Bill Toler on September 25, 1971 in Royalton. She is survived by her husband, Bill; two sons, Ronald (Janet) Gooden and Randy (Lori) Gooden; five grandchildren, Kenneth Gooden, Robert (Aimee) Gooden, Dustin (Samantha) Gooden, Matt Gooden and Morgan (Ross) Daily; three great-grandchildren, Rhea and Addison Gooden and Beckham Daily; three sisters, Norma Koren, Maryann Cosimi and Deborah Green; one brother, Tom Rutherford; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Sharon Rutherford and Beverly Jackson; and two brothers, John and Bill Rutherford. Janice loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved traveling to watch them participate in sporting events and other activities. Funeral services for Janice Toler will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Billy Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the Anna Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Everyone attending will be required to wear face coverings and observe social distancing guidelines. Maximum occupancy of the building will be limited to 50 people at one time.
