Janet Dillman

Janet Dillman, age 72 of Jonesboro, died Monday, March 1, 2021 at her home. She was born December 19, 1948 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the daughter of Carl and Effie (Morris) Pedigo. She married Charles Edward Dillman Sr. on February 23, 1967 in Olive Branch. He preceded her in death on September 19, 2017. She is survived by her children, Craig (Christie) Dillman of Anna, Charles Dillman Jr. of Anna, and Christina (Jeremiah) Willmore of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Michael Dillman, Brittany (Daniel) Rich, Ethan Dillman, Ayden Dillman, Elaine Willmore, Lucas Willmore and Joseph Willmore; great grandchild, Eric Rich; brothers, Chester (Sherre) Pedigo of Jonesboro and Arthur (Nancy) Pedigo of Virginia; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Edward Dillman Sr.; granddaughter, Alexis Dillman; sister, Myrtle Stevens; and brother, Buddy Pedigo. Janet was a member of the East Cape Baptist Church. She worked for many years at The First National Bank in Jonesboro. She loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at St. John's cemetery in Dongola with Rev. Paul Mayberry officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour of 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow ceremony. Everyone attending will be required to wear a face covering and observe social distancing guidelines.
