James Michael Lutz

James Michael Lutz, age 85 of St. Ann, MO and formerly of Anna-Jonesboro died on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, in St. Ann, MO. He was born December 31, 1935 in Anna, the son of James R. and Margaret McCarty Lutz. He married Edna Kneezle. She preceded him in death on September 11, 2020 Mike graduated from AJHS, Class of 1953. He was a US Army Veteran and retired from Electro-Motive Division of General Motors. Mike is survived by his daughter, Vicki Lutz of Sarasota, FL; son Marc Lutz of St. Ann, MO; grandchildren, Joshua Koenig and Jenny Kirkpatrick; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Jon McCarty Lutz of Anna and Timothy Howard Lutz of Henderson, KY; brother-in-law, John Watkins of Anna; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edna Lutz; sister, Judith Lee Lutz Watkins; brothers, Julian Thiel Lutz, Peter Alan Lutz and Steven Roberts Lutz. Private services and burial will be on his farm in Potosi, MO.
