James D. "Jim" Whitehead, aged 65 of Jonesboro, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at Herrin Hospital. He was born August 1, 1958 in East St. Louis, the son of William Thomas and Hildred (Hulet) Whitehead. He married Lisa Minton on January 21, 1984. She preceded him in death December 5, 2015.
Jim is survived by his sons, Brian Whitehead of Cobden and Alan Whitehead of St. Louis, MO; brother, Tom (Marilyn) Whitehead of Anna; sister, Sally Casey of Dongola; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Lisa Whitehead. He will be dearly missed.
Services for Jim will be held privately for his family.
