Mr. James W. Hartline, age 88 of Anna, died at 2:15 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 in the Anna Rehab and Nursing Center. He was born August 24, 1926 in Jackson County, the son of Fred A. and Emma McKinney Hartline. He married Betty Williams on May 14, 1948 in Anna. James is survived by his loving wife, Betty Hartline of Anna; one son, Bill (Jan) Hartline of Cobden; two grandchildren, Jamie (Neal) Hartsock, Jason Hartline; one great grandchild, Jace Lintz; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Lowell Alan Hartline; five sisters and one brother. James was a lifelong fruit grower and avid sportsman. His passion was everything hunting. He hunted locally as well as traveling to pursue his love of hunting. Funeral services for Mr. James W. Hartline will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Davy Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carmi Baptist Children's Home or the donor's choice. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
