James E. Hale

Mr. James E. Hale, age 75 of Anna, died at 1:25 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. He was born December 10, 1935 in Alto Pass, the son of Prestor Filmore and Fannie Melissa Underwood Hale. He married Rose Maldnado on July 4, 1964 in Sterling, Illinois. James is survived by his wife Rose Hale of Anna; one sister, Ada Reynolds of Goreville; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; eight sisters; two brothers; two half brothers; and two half sisters. James was a member of the Trinity Pentecostal Tabernacle Church in Jonesboro for many years. He loved music and was an avid reader. Funeral services for Mr. James E. Hale will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Geoffery Bond officiating. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the funeral hour on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the family. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
