James Foster

James Foster age 84 of Anna, died Sunday, May 20, 2018 at his home. He was born December 17, 1933 in Wolf Lake, the son of George and Edith L. (Rhodes) Foster. He married Maxine Burleson on October 7, 1955 in Waco, TX. James is survived by his loving wife, Maxine Foster of Anna; son, Terry (Denise) Foster of Jonesboro; daughter, Debbie (Mike) McLane of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Gretchin and J.D. Emrick, William, Jeffery, and Freda Foster, Christopher and Michaella McLane; great grandchildren, Matthew McLane, Connor McLane, Kylee Campbell, and Claira McLane; special caregiver, Sherry Codner; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna Marr; brothers in law, JD Burleson & Paul Marr. James proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked for C.M.S. as a traveling mechanic for the State of Illinois. He was a member of the Anna Moose Lodge and a life member of the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna. Interment will be in the Anna City Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 and until the service hour at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
