James H. Brown

James H. Brown, 97 of Anna, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at his home. He was born on June 16, 1924 in Anna, the son of James E. and Eunice (Inman) Brown. He married Marion Juede on October 10, 1987. She preceded him in death on July 20,2003. He is survived by two sisters, Afton Menees of Anna and Bonita Schaefer of St. Louis; a brother, Ronald Brown of Nashville; his step-children, Charles Schmidt, Carol Dippold and Kathy Landholt; nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and a sister, Blanche Pickles. James had been a member of Campgound Cumberland Presbyterian Church and later attended the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He retired from Choate Mental Health Center and worked for many years on the family farm. Funeral services for James H. Brown will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 26, 2021 at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Roger Menees officiating. Interment will follow in the Anna Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the service time at 10:00 at the funeral home.
