Jackie Ray "J.R." Peeler

Mr. Jackie Ray "J.R." Peeler, age 63 of Fort Worth, TX, formerly of Dongola, died at 2:17 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013 at his home in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born August 22, 1949 in Anna, the son of William Allan and Margaret R. Fisher Peeler. J.R. is survived by his two sons, Jason Peeler of Plano, IL, Jeremy Peeler of Fort Worth, TX; one daughter, Amanda Peeler of Jonesboro, Mother, Margaret R. Peeler of Dongola; five grandchildren, Savanna, Sabrina, Alexis, Dustin and Alexia; two brothers, John and Mike Peeler of Dongola; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father. J.R. proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Jackie Ray "J.R." Peeler will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the American Legion Cemetery in Dongola with Pastor Tim Heinecke officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Illinois Army National Guard Military Honors Team of Marion. Interment will be in the American Legion Cemetery in Dongola.
