Iris Mae Sheridan

Iris Mae Sheridan, infant daughter of John Bradley and Amanda Louise (Smith) Sheridan, journeyed to heaven at 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. She is survived by her parents, Brad and Amanda Sheridan of Anna; seven year old brother, John Thaniel Sheridan; maternal grandparents, Elliott Blayne and Leta Rose Rich Smith of Cobden; paternal grandparents, John and Kathy Oxford Sheridan of Cave-In-Rock; great grandparents, Thelma Louise Rich of Cape Girardeau, MO., Velma Oxford of Cave-In-Rock ; aunts and uncles, Stephanie and Aaron Meuser of Washington, IL, Kallie Smith of St. Louis, Meredith and Harold Frey of Cobden, Sarah and Tim Luczkiw of Athens, OH; cousins, Gabrielle, Aiden, Lia Mueser of Washington, IL, Naomi, Cora, and Victoria Frey of Cobden. Iris's twin sister, Josephine Louise Sheridan joined her in heaven on September 18, 2016 and she was preceded in death by the late James Fredrich Rich; the late Barbara Ruth Lence Smith, the late Willard and Leona Sheridan, the late Galen Oxford and the late Jimmie Smith. An Honorary Service, A time to Honor our Daughter Iris, will be at 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2016 in the Vine Church in Carbondale with Noble Staley officiating. Interment will be held privately for the family in the Cobden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made the Sheridan family.
