Henry Mac Mclane

Mr. Henry Mac McLane, age 85 of Ware, died at 2:44 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013 at his home in Ware. He was born October 10, 1927 in Ware, the son of Henry Levi and Minnie Jackson McLane. He married Maxine Rogers on October 10, 1948 in Jonesboro. She preceded him in death on March 27, 2010. Henry is survived by his two sons, Michael (Debbie) McLane of Jonesboro, Mitchel (Amy) McLane of Ware; eight grandchildren, Christopher McLane, Michaella Campbell, Gretchin Emrick, J.D. Emrick, Heather Goins, Patrick McLane, Drew McLane, Koby McLane; four great grandchildren, Madison Goins, Matthew McLane, Kylie Campbell and Conner McLane; special nieces, Kay Ruckrigel and Cynthia Hoffer; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Maxine McLane. Henry was a member of the Ware United Methodist Church for many years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a life member of the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna. Henry spent his life farming in the Mississippi bottoms in Ware and Wolf Lake. Henry was a pilot; he loved to fish, especially in Florida. He dearly loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Henry and his late wife, Maxine enjoyed traveling. Funeral services for Mr. Henry Mac McLane will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Bill Littrell officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 11:00 on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to TIP Hospice or the Ware United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
