Henry C. Lingle

Henry C. Lingle, age 65 of Cobden, died Friday, January 26, 2024 at his home. He was born on November 15, 1958 in Wood River, the son of Gerald M. and Velma Lorene (Clutts) Lingle. He married Diana Baker on May 6, 1984 in Anna.

Henry is survived by his wife Diana Lingle; stepdaughters, Nancy Baker and Deborah Woolridge; granddaughter, Elizabeth Woolridge; great-grandson, Landon Woolridge; a brother, D. Levi Lingle; sister, Donna Lingle (Ira Goldberg); other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Brandon Woolridge.

A lifelong farmer, Henry provided fruits and vegetables to people all over Southern Illinois. He also sold plants to help others get their gardens started.

Private graveside services for Henry Lingle will take place at the Cobden Cemetery. Interment will follow. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden is in charge of arrangements.
