Helen Evelyn Russell

Helen Evelyn Russell, age 82 of Jonesboro, died at 9:44 pm, Friday, August 26, 2011 at her home. She was born on February 2, 1929 in Cobden, the daughter of Frank and Bertha (Fisher) Overton. Helen married Walter Russell on October 14, 2000 in Cobden and he survives. Survivors include her husband, Walter Russell of Jonesboro; a daughter, Dianne Wiseman of Jonesboro; a grandson, Rusty Smith of Jonesboro; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by two sons, Franklin Norris and Carl Lee Wiseman Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with the Rev. Clifford Heil officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, September 1 from 1:00 pm until the memorial services at 2:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Mrs. Helen Russell and Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
