Helen G. Rumfelt

Mrs. Helen G. Rumfelt, age 58 of rural Dongola, died Thursday, January 25, 2018 in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. She was born February 2, 1959 in Shawneetown, the daughter of Homer William and Dorothy May (Seeley) Gordon. She married Edward Rumfelt on March 24, 2000 in Anna. Helen is survived by her husband, Edward Rumfelt of Anna; children, Shawnna Nicole Goolsby-Franklin and husband Bill Franklin of Metropolis, Derek Scott Goolsby of East St. Louis, Rachel Rumfelt, Sheena Lovelace, Edward Rumfelt and Lydia Janson; six grandchildren, Annie, Destiny, Gloria, Yuna, Genevive, and Mable; three brothers; two sisters; other relatives and friends. Helen wished to be cremated. Her family plans a celebration of her life at a later date.
