Helen W. (Otten) Kreutz, 96 of Anna, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Union County Hospital. She was born on March 5, 1924 in Randolph County, Illinois the daughter of Henry and Louise (Huch) Otten. She married Clifford Kreutz. She is survived by a sister, Lola Edmonds; sisters-in-law, Jenny and Betty Otten; nieces and nephews, Paula (Ron) Sneider, Alan (Sheila) Otten, Cathy (Jim) Livesay, Tim Smerz, Terri Bauer, Denny (Charla) Edmonds, Marcia Abel, Mike (Tina) Otten, Terri (Craig) Partridge, Mark (Janice) Eddleman and Dana (Jama) Eddleman; god-child, Rhonda Leach; numerous great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four siblings, Paul Otten, Amos Otten, Silas (Evelyn) Otten and Janet (Leroy) Eddleman and a brother-in-law, Earl Edmonds. Helen worked for 15 years for Valley Electric in St. Louis, MO as a secretary. While working there she met Clifford and they later married. Helen was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Jonesboro. She enjoyed fishing, maintaining her yard and flowers and traveling with her family and friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Mark Hasty officiating. Interment will follow in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Everyone will be required to wear face coverings and observe social distancing guidelines. Maximum occupancy of the building will be limited to 50 persons at one time.
