Harry Taylor Sr.

Harry Taylor Sr. age 79 of Anna, died Monday, December 23, 2019 in the Life Care Center of Cape Girardeau, Mo. He was born September 16, 1940 in Anna, the son of Logan and Anna (Tolbert) Taylor. He married Gloria L. Wollard on July 15, 1961 in Joliet. She preceded him in death on October 30, 2003. Harry is survived by his children, Harry Jr. (LeAn) Taylor of Carroll, IA., Patricia (Rick) Mulback of Anna, and Michael Taylor of Anna; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gloria L. Taylor; son, Steven Taylor; and four brothers. Harry honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He worked many years for General Motors as a welder. Harry enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and golf and watching westerns. Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Pastor Randy Wright officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Navy Funeral Honor Detail. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Friday and until the service hour at 12:00.
