Harry L. Rodman

Harry L. Rodman, age 85 of Anna, died Saturday, August 17, 2019 in Memorial Hospital in Carbondale. He was born August 14, 1934 in Anna, the son of Clyde and Gladys (Brown) Rodman. He married Marilyn J. Corzine on November 25, 1960 in Anna. Harry is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn J. Rodman of Anna; daughter Julie (Mark) Steddom and son, Joe Rodman all of Davenport, IA; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David "Chris" Rodman; and brother, Frank A. Rodman. Harry honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked many years as an accountant and later was partner in the Tropical Ford Dealership in Orlando, FL before his retirement. He loved traveling with his wife Marilyn in their R.V. Together they visited all 50 states and two providences of Canada. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Dr. David Fischler officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Illinois Army National Guard Funeral Honor Team of Marion. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. and until the service hour at 3:00 on Thursday, August 22, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Anna. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
