Harold W. Smith

Mr. Harold W. Smith, age 61 of Wolf Lake, died at 7:20 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2012 in the Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born January 1, 1951 in Wolf Lake, the son of Ellis and Virginia Hamel Smith. He married Norleen Brown on October 24, 1998 in Grand Tower. Harold is survived by his loving wife, Norleen Smith of Wolf Lake; five daughters, Becky (Dennis) Fisher of Anna, Judy (Michael) Mezo of Wolf Lake, Trisha Anglin of Jonesboro, Jessica Price of Wolf Lake, Christine Brown of Wolf Lake; one son, Tommy Brown of Johnston City; five grandchildren, Douglas Mezo, Daulton Mezo, Chelsie Pind, Alexander Miles and Cody Price Miles; brothers and sisters, Margaret (Larry) Dale of Jonesboro, Joe Smith of Jonesboro, Grace (Butch) Norton of Wolf Lake, Elvis (Rayetta) Smith of Vienna, Ellis (Ruby) Smith of Wolf Lake, and Catherine (John) Yow of Carbondale; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Harold was an avid hunter and fisherman and he dearly loved visiting with his family and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Harold W. Smith will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. David Adams officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
