Harold Gene "Harry" Turner

Mr. Harold G. "Harry" Turner Sr. age 60 of Anna, died at 9:40 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2013 at his home. He was born March 23, 1953 in Anna, the son of Reba Ellen Turner. He married Wilma "Sug" Hill in 1976 in Belleville. Harold is survived by his loving wife Wilma "Sug" Turner of Anna; two daughters, Lola (Miguel) Serrano of Campbell, MO, and Robin (Bobby Carmack) Turner of Olmsted; one son Harold (Amber Griffin) Turner Jr. of Anna; grandchildren, Alex, Carlos, Camila, Monica, Adrien, Jessica, Selena, Tyler, Brooke, Mariah, and Colten; mother Reba Ellen Turner of Anna; sister-in-law Kathleen Bailey; brothers-in law Daryl, Larry, Ricky, Stevie, Carrol Gene, and Roger Turner;other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Ann Mae Turner who raised him like one of her own children. Harold was a member of the Anna Moose Lodge # 1346. He worked for many years as a laborer, building grain bins. He also worked for Karco, the box factory, and later Abex factory. Funeral services for Mr. Harold G. "Harry" Turner Sr. will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2013 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, with Jeff Starr officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2013 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
