Harold Garrett

Harold Garrett, age 77 of Anna, died at 1:10 am, Monday, September 26, 2011 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born in Anna on May 20, 1934, the son of Otis and Ivy (Brimm) Garrett. Harold married Betty Jane Eastwood on June 7, 1957 in Anna. Harold is survived by his wife, Betty Garrett of Anna; two sons, Ricky Garrett of Energy and David Garrett of Dongola; three daughters, Debbie Smith of Anna, Cathy Reynolds of Anna and Marilyn Land of Jonesboro; five granddaughters, Valerie Merriwether, Tifney McGill, Cristie Dillman, Shara Smith and Charlie Jo Smith; three great-grandchildren, Amiyah Merriwether, Ethan Dillman, Aden Dillman other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a great-granddaughter, Alexis Dillman and a brother Joe Garrett. Funeral services for Mr. Harold Garrett will be conducted at 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with the Rev. Donald Childers officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 28 from 9:00 am until the funeral hour at 11:00 am. Burial will be in the Casper Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro to help the family with expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
