Griselda Flores-Amezquita

Mrs. Griselda Flores-Amezquita, age 58 of Cobden, died Monday, October 5, 2015 in St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born December 23, 1956 in Ojo De Agua, Guanajuato Mexico, the daughter of Austreberto Flores and Maria De Jesus Calderon. Griselda is survived by her loving husband, Pastor Amezquita of Cobden; five sons, Fidel (Evelia) Amezquita of Cobden, Marcelo (Alma) Amezquita of Cobden, Marin Amezquita of Cobden, Alejandro Amezquita of Carbondale, and Armando (Kaley) Amezquita of Carbondale; five grandchildren, Daniel, Andres, Crystal, Jennifer, and Elizabeth Amezquita; two sisters, Elena (Nestor) Murillo of Houston and Anita Martinez all of Houston, TX; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Senetria Martinez. Griselda found great joy and strength attending the Jesus Es El Senor Methodist Church in Cobden. Funeral services for Mrs. Griselda Flores-Amezquita will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 in the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Cobden with Father Uriel Salamanca officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.
