Gloria M. Sivia, age 80 of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born January 27, 1944 in Thebes, the daughter of Lilbourn and Jessie (Anglin) Riley. On May 24, 2008, she married Bobby Ray Sivia at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Sivia; daughter, Kimberly Doublin of Anna; three sons, Edward (Kim) Prater of Murphysboro, Clyde (Anita) Prater of Dowell, and Glen Prater (Geraldine Knupp) of Anna; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sharon Riley; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Lilbourn Riley; mother, Jessie Tucker; one grandchild, and brother, Jerry Dean Riley.
Gloria was a kind soul. She enjoyed camping. From an early age, walking was one of her favorite activities. She loved to walk up and down the Jonesboro hill and to spend time with her family. She will be dearly missed.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2024 at the Mission Chapel Cemetery in Dongola with Pastor Lupe Lopez officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Help at Home. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery and the funeral home.
