Glenn I. Dillon, III, 78 of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on February 7, 1943 in Glendale, California the son of Glenn, Jr. and Louis Dillon. He married Linda Newberry on December 5, 1998 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Glenn is survived by his wife Linda Dillon of Jonesboro; two sons, Jeff (Cori) Dillon and Justin (Angela) Dillon; a daughter, Stacy Denton; a stepson, Dennis (Lori) Helton; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Lance Dillon. Glenn honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Anna. He retired from Choate Mental Health Center before continuing to work at a CILA home. His greatest joy was his children. Glenn enjoyed riding motorcycles and going to the gym with his friends. In the past, he ran several marathons. Graveside funeral services for Glenn Dillon will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 6, 2021 at Mound City National Cemetery with Father Uriel Salamanca officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 6 at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
