Glenda Sue Hanney

Mrs. Glenda Sue Hanney, age 62 of Jonesboro, died at 1:45 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 at her home. She was born September 18, 1952 in Anna, the daughter of Harold Leroy and Arnetta Pedigo Roach. She married Larry Womack, he preceded her in death on January 20, 2002. Glenda later married Thomas M. Hanney Jr. on May 27, 2003. He preceded her in death on September 22, 2013. Glenda is survived by her best companion, Punky; children, Tammy Williams, Tim Hanney and Tracy Hanney; ten grandchildren, Tonya, Andrea, Jessica, Nikki Jo, Timmy, James Thomas, Jarrod, Terra, Emma, and Autumn; several great grandchildren; five sisters, Sarah Pind, Shelbby Eubanks, Lynn Roach, Tina Smith, Mona Shipley; two brothers, Harold Roach Jr. and Danny Roach, two nephews, Jason Andrew and Bradley Daniel Shipley; brother in law, Jimmy Shipley; dear friends, Betty Powles and Judy Johnson; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, one son, Tommy Hanney; two brothers, Roy Franklin Roach, Jimmy Ray Roach; and two sisters, Mary Louise Roach and Judy Murray. Glenda was a life member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Ladies of the Moose Auxiliary, and the Elks Lodge in Anna. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Glenda Sue Hanney will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2015 in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna and at the Cemetery.
