Geraldine Fitch

Mrs. Geraldine Fitch, age 87 of Marion and formerly of Anna and Wolf Lake died at 1:35 pm Saturday February 19, 2011 in Parkway Manor in Marion. She was born August 22, 1923 in Jonesboro the daughter of Lester S. and Ruth Boyce Hess.Geraldine was married to George E. Fitch July 10, 1945 in Osceola, Arkansas. Geraldine worked for General Telephone Company for forty years retiring in 1985. Geraldine was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Anna.Geraldine is survived by her husband George E. Fitch of Marion, one daughter Nancy (John) Blandford of Red Bud, Cousins Mary Kay Eddleman and Jim Dodson both of Anna and nieces , nephews, other relatives and friends. Geraldine was preceded in death by an infant sister Mary Ann Hess, brother and wife Ray and Patricia Hess, sister and husband Margaret and Derrel Whiteside, and cousin Sam Dodson.Funeral services for Geraldine will be conducted Wednesday February 23, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Robert Heimgartner officiating. Burial will be in the Anna Cemetery. Friends may call at Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna from 11:30 am until the funeral hour.
