Gene Edward Anglin

Gene Edward Anglin, age 49 of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born on June 14, 1974 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the son of Albert and Melva (Cramner) Anglin.

Gene is survived by his partner of 21 years, Laura Kimmel; son, Joseph Anglin; sisters Lesa Doublin and Roxana Heaps; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Charles Brewer and a sister, Erma Anglin.

Gene enjoyed camping, fishing and hiking. He was an avid collector of dragons and skulls. He always looked forward to working alongside his good friend, Junior Prater. Most of all, Gene loved spending time with his family.

At this time, no services have been scheduled. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna is assisting the family. Memorial contributions can be made to Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home to assist the Anglin family with final expenses.
