Gayle D. Waterson

Gayle D. Watterson, age 63 of Anna, died 2:13 am, Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born on July 7, 1950 in Mansfield, the son of Arthur and Ruby (Robinson) Watterson. He married Marilyn Delgy on August 29, 1971. Gayle's life hobbies were fishing, camping and classic cars, but most of all he loved his family and friends. Gayle is survived by his wife Marilyn of Anna; two daughters, Tonya Cross of Jonesboro and Kathy Johnson of Elkville; one son, Jason Watterson of Anna; six grandchildren; six step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; eleven step great grandchildren; one sister, Sandy Warren of Boaz, AL; one brother, Steven Watterson of Champaign; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services for Mr. Gayle D. Watterson will be at 11:00 am, Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Rev. Gilbert Gee officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. and until the funeral hour at 11:00 am on Monday, July 22, 2013. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery.
