Gary Womack

Mr. Gary Womack, age 64, of Braidwood, IL, formerly of Jonesboro, died at 8:35 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011 at his home. He was born August 4, 1946 in Jonesboro, the son of Amel and Pluma Ragain Womack. He was united in marriage to Cathy Hess on November 15, 2008 in Joliet. Gary is survived by his wife Cathy Womack of Joliet; daughter Mandi; stepdaughter, Danielle (Joe) Godar; four grandchildren, Jacob, Alec, Khiah and Ethan; one brother Ralph Womack; nieces and nephews, Steve Womack, YaVonne (Bill) Eads, Jolynne (Brian) Campbell, Linda (Ralph) Isom, Patty (Chip) Young, Roger (Terri) Womack, Bruce Womack, Karen (David) Parker, Erika (Josh) Wheaton, Chad (Brandy) Eads, Brianna and Mirranda Eads. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Scott, sister, Betty Kinslow; two brothers, Bob and Larry Womack; infant sister, Geraldine Womack; two sister in laws, Katherine and Lois Womack. Gary proudly served in the United States Army. Funeral services for Mr. Gary Womack will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 to 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
