Gary L. Townzen Sr.

Gary L. Townzen Sr., age 74 of Anna, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at his home. He was born August 31, 1946 in Granite City, the son of Carl and Irene (White) Townzen. He married Bridget Ashmore in 2007. Gary is survived by his wife, Bridget Townzen; children, Kristina (Jonas) Townzen-Tindall and Gary L. Townzen Jr.; step-children, Devan Hooks, William Bailey Jr., and Falon Savage; grandchildren, Garrett Townzen, Gavin Hooks, Tye Bender, Bailey Hooks, Jaicey Hooks, Zaidey Hooks, Faith Lane, and Courtney Bailey; great grandchild, Paizley smith; brother, Mark (Denise) Townzen; sister-in-laws, JoAnn Townzen, Dixie (Bob) Ventura, and Shawna Ashmore; brother-in-law, Joe Lucking and Steve (Sandy) Ashmore; mother-in-law, Joyce Ashmore; nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carl Townzen and Brian Townzen; sister, Beverly Lucking. Gary proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. There will be no services at this time.
