Gary Noble

Gary Noble, age 69 of Jonesboro, died Thursday, April 25, 2019 in Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born November 8, 1949 in Anna, the son of Earl and Nora (Rushing) Noble. Nora Noble preceded him in death and his father married Droleska Adams who raised Gary as her own. He married Brenda Hileman on December 6, 1986 in Jonesboro. Gary is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Noble; children, Angela (Daren) Silberschlag of St. Louis, Missouri; Melissa Knight of Dallas Texas, Christian (Taylor) Haney of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Carly Silberschlag, Hannah Lincoln, and Lisa and Sarah; six great grandchildren; many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his birth mother; his parents; son, Jeremy Kasper; brother, Don Noble; sisters, Delorias Womack and Vernetta Blaylock; niece, Sherry Noble; and son in law Kevin Knight. Gary worked for the Florsheim shoe factory for 25 years. He was an advocate for the Black Lung Association and served as a liaison for them for many years. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2019 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Interment will be in the St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour of 1:00 p.m. on Monday in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
