Gary Boyd Langston

Gary Boyd Langston, age 85 of Jefferson City, MO, died Wednesday, June 12, 2024.  He was born August 8, 1938 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Arthur and Bernetta (Boyd) Langston. He married Barbara Beeler on February 27, 1971 in Fairview Heights.

Gary worked may years for Cotton Belt Railroad as a conductor until his retirement. He was a member of the Concord Baptist Church and the USS Toledo CA-133 Reunion Association. Gary honorably served his country in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1961.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Langston; children, Gary II (Janie) Langston, Pam (Charles) Painter, Pattie Langston, Roger (Beth) Langston, Terry (Angela) Langston and Julie (Brian) Arbegast; grandchildren, Amber Langston, Ashley and Brandon Arbegast, Robert, Jared and Jessica Painter; sister, Rin (Phil) Ray other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by parents and a brother, Michael Langston.

Services for Gary Boyd Langston will be held privately. Interment and military honors will be held at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
