Garry Dale Poole

Garry Dale Poole, age 84 of Anna, died Thursday, January 30, 2025 at his home. He was born on July 18, 1940, in Alexander County, the son of Forrest E. and Maude L. (Jordan) Poole. He married Karen King.

Garry is survived by his wife, Karen Poole of Anna; son, David (Becki) Poole; daughters, Rebecca Poole and Christina Poole-Pratt; grandchildren, Kyleigh, Conner and Carly; great-grandchildren, Hunter Lee, Willow Grace and Meadow Raine; sister-in-law, Shirley Poole-Cooke; niece, Debra and family and nephew, Lindell and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Ryan Pratt and brothers, Jackie E. Poole and Donald D. Poole

In high school, Garry was very athletic, playing basketball and baseball. Later he enjoyed slow-pitch softball. He was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan and an exceptional pool player, playing in a league for many years. Many will remember him as the bartender at the Four Seasons in Anna.

Garry's family will celebrate his life this summer during their annual family 4th of July celebration. Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
