Gail Richard Brown

Mr. Gail Richard Brown age 79 of Jonesboro, died at 6:30 pm, Saturday, December 8, 2012 at his home in Jonesboro. He was born on April 6, 1933, the son of Fred L. and Agnes E. (DuRall) Brown. Gail married Shelby J. Barker on October 9, 1959 in Cobden. Gail is survived by his wife, Shelby J. Brown of Jonesboro; one son, Kenneth E. Brown of Anna; one daughter, Deborah (Daniel) Placek of Jonesboro; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Elizabeth and Sarah Jo Placek; one brother, Revis M. (Jean) Brown of Jonesboro; one sister, Barbara B. Lair of Jonesboro; other relatives and many friends. Gail was preceded in death by a son, Richard Dale Brown; an infant sister; an infant brother and his parents. Gail was a member of the Lockard Chapel Baptist Church and he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Funeral services for Mr. Gail Richard Brown will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with the Rev. Jack Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 11:00 am until the funeral hour at 1:00 pm. Memorials may be made to TIP Hospice or Lockard Chapel Baptist Church. Memorial envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
