Freda Mary Dillow

Freda Dillow, age 97 of Anna, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024 at Union County Hospital. She was born December 12, 1926 in Dongola, the daughter of Francis Addison and Lovenia Victoria (Karraker) Morgan. She married Carl Roscoe Dillow on September 21, 1947 in Osceola, Arkansas. He preceded her in death April 10, 1989.

Freda is survived by her daughter, Linda (Doug) Reid of Buncombe; son, Gale (Nancy) Dillow of Rosenberg, TX; five grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jeff) Johnson, Brandon (Tina) Reid, Thomas (Krissy) Reid, Elise (Andre) Adourian,

and Leah Dillow; five great-grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, and Alaina Johnson, Carson, Brenson, and Caden Reid, and one more on-the-way; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Roscoe Dillow, and brother, Carl Morgan.

Freda was a faithful member of the Anna Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading, tending to her garden, and doing jigsaw puzzles. Freda also volunteered many years to the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with Phillip Jones and Ryan Thornsberry officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Anna Cemetery. Visitation with be from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour at 2:00 p.m. at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home.
