Fred Spurlock Jr.

Fred Spurlock Jr., age 74 of Anna, died Friday, December 27, 2019 at his home. He was born September 17, 1945, the son of Freddie Ray Sr. and Barbara B. (Brown) Spurlock. Fred is survived by his mother, Barbara Lair of Jonesboro; children, Timothy Warren Spurlock and Lauri Ann Spurlock all of Katy, TX; sister, Kelly (Larry) Gaddis of Dongola; sister-in-law, Margaret Dale of Jonesboro; brother-in-law, Raymond Menz of Anna; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; stepfather, Ray Lair; siblings, Larry Joe Spurlock, Steven Spurlock, Cindy Sue Menz, and Gail Lee Spurlock. Fred proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked many years in construction. Fred's wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held.
