Fred Alfred Frailey, age 87 of Lick Creek, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 at Herrin Hospital.He was born on November 22, 1932 in Fidelity, IL to Sam and Anna (Leivers) Frailey. He married Norma Jean Cline on June 6, 1953 in East Alton, IL.Fred was a gifted guitar player. Throughout their 66-year marriage, He and Norma played, sang and evangelized for the Lord. Together, they founded a church in Blodgett, MO.Fred was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Wolf Lake, IL. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Union Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons at Lick Creek. He joined the Oddfellows Lodge in Alton at the age of 18.He is survived by his loving wife Norma Frailey; 1 son, Randy Frailey of Sikeston, MO; 1 daughter, Linda Jean Frailey of Lick Creek; 4 brothers, Art (Carolyn) Frailey of Marion, Sam Frailey and Curt Frailey, both of Pontiac, IL and Larry (Ann) Goza of Florida; 1 sister, Lenora Dobbs of Jackson, MO; 3 grandchildren, Jason Gardner, Ben (Colleen) Frailey and Jessica Frailey; 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.He was proceeded in death by his parents, a sister, Edna Peters as well as other siblings.Funeral services for Fred Frailey will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday January 15, 2020 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Pastor Ron Thorn officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek. Friends may call from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 14, 2020 the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
