Frank Hileman

Mr. Frank Hileman, age 84 of Marion, died at 10:20 pm, Thursday September 6, 2012 at his home in Marion. Frank was born on November 16, 1927 in Mill Creek, the son of Elbert O. and Clair Verneal (Jordan) Hileman. He married Ann Enright on January 22, 1949 in Mill Creek. She preceded him in death on October 6, 2004. Frank is survived by one son, Lynn (Georgia) Hileman of Rogers, Texas; two grandchildren. Doug and Jina Hileman; two step-grandchildren, Danny and Matthew Salladay; five great-grandchildren, Makala Hileman, Austin Hileman, Siera Hileman, Emily Hileman and Troy Salladay; one brother, Elbert Lee Hileman of Mounds; two sisters, Joeann Clutts of Anna and Kay Whitney of Jonesboro; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ann Hileman; two brothers and three sisters. Frank retired from the U.S. Federal Prison in Marion after many years of service. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and he was a life member of the VFW. Frank was of the Catholic Faith. Funeral services for Mr. Frank Hileman will be conducted on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Burial will be in the St. John's Cemetery with graveside military funeral rites conducted by the Illinois National Guard Funeral Honors Team of Marion and the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the VFW of Anna. Friends may call at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro on Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 5 until 8:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John's Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
