Frances Ralls, 98, of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born January 6, 1928, in Erlangen, Germany, the first daughter of Alfred and Ida Pernutz Lehmann.
She met and married Louie “Lum” Ralls in Erlangen, Germany. She, along with their 2 daughters, came to America to be with him. The Ralls family took her in and always treated her with love and respect.
She is survived by six children; Ursula (James) Reynolds and Kathy (Bryan) Freeman of Jonesboro, Richard (Janet) Ralls of Anna, Tony (Amy) Ralls of Carbondale, Harry (Candy) Ralls of Cape Girardeau, and Marlene Freeman of East Cape Girardeau. Grandchildren, Brad, Melissa, Jamie, Rebecca, Matthew, Daniel, Tonya, Adam, Andy and Alexis; Great Grandchildren, Christi, Jacob, Jayden, Maverick, Garrison, Karsynne, Sterling, Saphyre, Heidi, Trent, Miley, Mackenzie, Gavin, Ryker, Hudson, Allison and Kelce; Great Great Grandchildren, Cayden and Elizaya; one sister, Brigitte Rosenzweig, a niece, Andrea, and nephew, Jurgen, great niece, Julia, and great nephew, Jan., all of Erlangen, Germany. She is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews in her Ralls family.
She was preceded by her husband, Louie; her parents; a sister, Ursula; a granddaughter, Allison; a son-in-law, Wayne, and a brother-in-law, Helmut.

Graveside services will be held privately.
