Flossie Leonard

Mrs. Flossie Leonard, age 86 of Anna, died at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born February 19, 1929 in Macon County, TN, the daughter of Sam and Rose (Presley) Coulter. She married Carl J. Leonard on February 7, 1956 in Union County. He preceded her in death on January 22, 2010. Flossie is survived by her three daughters, Alice (Lloyd) McCann of Anna, Brenda (Kim) Albers of Dongola, Mary (Mike) Olson of West Frankfort; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl J. Leonard; daughter, Patty Roach; great-grandson, Dakota Pendley; five brothers and one sister. Flossie was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services for Mrs. Flossie Leonard will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Pastor Paul Tirey officiating. Interment will be in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek. Friends may call from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2015 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Missionary Baptist Church in Lick Creek. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
