Mrs. Fannie Lutrell "Lou" Parmly, age 85 of Alto Pass, died at 12:49 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 in Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born December 3, 1927 in Jonesboro, the daughter of James "Good Buddy" and Pearl Tompkins Shelton. She married Kenneth E. Parmly on October 26, 1946 in Oceola, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on October 25, 2009. Lou is survived by her son, Ronald (Brenda) Parmly of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Lori and Lane Parmly, Kim Gilbert, Leslie Hacker, Mindy Van Fossan, Michael Bartolotti; sixteen great grandchildren, Brittni Pratis, Baleigh Parmly, Jimmy, Jacob, Lee and Jonathan Parmly, Alexis, Tyler and Alyssa Hacker, Bobbi Jo and Kaili Gilbert, Kody, Garrett and Paige Van Fossan, Jessica Hall, Preston Bartolotti; two great grandchildren, Jailynn Pratis and Jaxon Simmons; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth E. Parmly; one daughter, Kendra Bartolotti; three sisters, Dixie Shelton, Elwanda Kerr and Lillian Winfield; one grandson, Jonathan Luke Parmly; and one great grandson, Connor Michael Gilbert. Lou was a member of the First Baptist Church in Alto Pass for many years. Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Lutrell "Lou" Parmly will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass with Rev. Carl Dillow officiating. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass.
