Evelyn Livesay

Evelyn Livesay, age 84 of Jonesboro, died at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2017 at her home. She was born July 17, 1932 in Ware, the daughter of John and Jesse (McCloud) Orr. She married Harold Livesay on November 25, 1950 in Reynoldsville Baptist Church. Evelyn is survived by her husband, Harold Livesay of Jonesboro; children, Phillip (Mary Beth) Livesay of Marion, Cheryl (Hank) Valleroy of Benton, Susan (Dale) Kinder of Jonesboro and Steve Livesay of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Wesley Dunn, Sarah Valleroy, Katie Valleroy, Chris Livesay and Magen (Kyle) Brumleve; five great grandchildren; brother, Harold (Rosemary) Orr of Vienna, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Livesay; brothers, Albert Orr and Carl Orr. Evelyn was a member of the Anna First Baptist Church. She worked with her husband in the family business for many years. Graveside services for Evelyn Livesay will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Jonesboro Cemetery with Rev. John Cripps officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends are asked to go directly to the Jonesboro Cemetery.
