Eugene Mcneely

Eugene McNeely age 91 of Anna, died Monday, December 4, 2023. He was born October 11, 1932 in Lake, West Virginia, the son of Ora and Inez (Craddock) McNeely. He married Barbara (Ellison) Poliszczuk on May 25, 1996 in Rockford.

Eugene was an over the road truck driver until this retirement. He enjoyed camping and taking road trips or just driving around to view the scenery.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Barbara McNeely of Anna; children, Donna (Dennis) Eakley of Carrollton, GA, Rebecca Brescia of Anna, and Robert McNeely of Rockford; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joe McNeely and sister, Marie Berg.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Visitation will also be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Highland Garden of Memories in Belvidere. Interment will immediately follow.
