Ernest E. Rosenthal

Mr. Ernest E. Rosenthal, age 84 of Marion, formerly of Union County, died at 6:10 A.M. Monday, November 8, 2010 at Herrin Hospital. He was born January 24, 1926 in Cobden, the son of Ray H. and Suda L. Evans Rosenthal.Ernest is survived by one son, Ronald E. Rosenthal of Wolf Lake; two grandchildren, Jodi M. (Scott) Treece, Tim E. (Nicole) Rosenthal; four great-grandchildren, Austin S., Kayla M., Braeden T. Treece, and Ava N. Rosenthal; two brothers, John (Nellie) Rosenthal of Coulterville, Kenneth R. (Teddie) Rosenthal of Dallas, TX.; one sister, Mary M. (Bill) Taylor of Eldorado; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Earl G. Rosenthal and special friend, Gloria Schaefer.Funeral services for Mr. Ernest E. Rosenthal will be at 11:00 A. M. Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden with Rev. Clifford Heil officiating. Interment will be in the Cobden Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:00 A.M. Thursday and until the funeral hour at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden.
