Erie J. Rosson

Erie J. Rosson, age 103 of Jonesboro, died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in the Jonesboro Rehab. She was born October 29, 1914 in Mill Creek, daughter of Clarence and Izora (Holshouser) McCommons. She married Charles Rosson on August 6, 1931 in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1995. Erie is survived by her son, Bob (Pat) Rosson of Goodyear, AZ; daughter, Charlene (Gerald) Hileman of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Donna (Rob) Jessen, Nancy Gould, Scott Hileman, Gina (Brian) Bivin, Tammy (Jeff) Wheeler, Tracey (Chris) Denten; eight great grandchildren, Mikyle Jessen, Isabella Jessen, Jasmine Bivin, Bryce Bivin, Tyler Ott, Alex Ott, Jacob Denten and Chloe Denten; sister, Mary Casper of Jonesboro, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Rosson; son, Louis Rosson; daughter, Virginia Lee Gould; sisters, Clara Barnett and Eileen Ellis; brother, Roy McCommons; son in law, and Robert Gould. Erie was a member of the First Christian Church of Anna. Funeral services for Erie J. Rosson will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home of Anna with Pastor Tim Weiser officiating. Interment will be in the McGinnis Cemetery in Anna. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. and until the service hour at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
