Eric L. Gorman

Eric L. Gorman, age 53 of Detroit, MI, formerly of Union County, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Siani-Grace Hospital in Detroit, MI. He was born October 23, 1967 in Cape Girardeau, Mo, the son of Robert Marlow and Dale Ann (Doerr) Gorman. Eric is survived by his father, Robert (Carol) Gorman of Garden Valley, Idaho; sister, Emilee (Charles) Marks of Jonesboro; half-sister, Alisa Fancher of Missouri; nephew, Dallas Marks; niece, Jade Marks; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dale Ann Gorman; paternal grandparents, Katie & Warren Gorman; and maternal grandparents, Milferd "Doc" & Georgia Marie Doerr. Eric was a member of the Central Untied Methodist Church in Detroit. He worked as a C.N.A. for many years. Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Anna Cemetery. Friends attending are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
