Emma Hileman

Emma Hileman, age 91 of Anna, died Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Union County Hospital. She was born January 18, 1931 in Union County, the daughter of Fred Jacob and Nellie G. (Eddleman) Hileman. Emma is survived by her sister-in-law, Bonnie Hileman; brother-in-law, John J. Ligon; nieces and nephews, Douglas (Beth) Hileman of Anna, Kurtis (Melanie) Hileman of Jonesboro, Russell (Sherri) Hileman, Lynn (Connie) Hileman, Brenda Hileman, Joni (Don) Yates, John P. (Cheryl) Ligon, and Lisa (Donald) Skelton all of Anna; 19 great-nieces and nephews; 35 great-great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death her parents; brother, William E. Hileman; and sister, Louise Ligon. Emma attended Center Hill Grade School and Anna-Jonesboro High School. She worked at Choate Mental Health for 39 years. She was a member of the Anna First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the service hour at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorials may be made to the Lottie Moon Mission at the Anna Heights Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
